The Green Turtle Army! Because Children are the Future

Our newest campaign is the Green Turtle Army, which targets Elementary School children. Based on the 1970’s Woodsy Owl campaign from the USA, RMIT University students were tasked with creating mascots that would teach children about the negative impacts of littering. They came up with mascots based on the mythological “Long Huy,” a creature that is both Turtle and Dragon!

We are pushing forward with this campaign in two ways:
With the help of teachers and students from the Saigon South International School, We’re designing activities and lesson plans to be used in elementary schools around Vietnam to spread the Clean and Green! If you’re an educator, you’ll be able to download these activities for use in your classroom soon!

With the help of RMIT University students we’re designing a game for phones and computers that will teach about the problems caused by littering. The Green Turtle Army is Going Digital!
